A1 Appraisal Service holds itself to the industry standards and rules set in place for ethics. We won't accept anything less from ourselves. Accepting orders where our fee is dependent on our value conclusion is never an option. That is, we can't agree to do an appraisal report and collect payment on the contingency of the loan closing, a predetermined value or a percentage of the value. It should be obvious that fabricating a property's value to achieve essentially a bigger paycheck is unethical! We set ourselves to a higher standard. We can provide you with a floor plan for an accurate sq.ft. and photos for your listings, create a ‘diary’ of your home and contents in the event of an insurance claim, and answer questions on what is needed to update your home for valuation. As we are located in the Greater Portland / Vancouver Metropolitan area, we service counties in Oregon and Washington. Our service area covers Multnomah, Washington and Clackamas Counties in Oregon and Clark County in Washington. We have been servicing this area for well over a decade.
